Akwa Ibom State FA congratulates Super Eagles B, NFF after CHAN qualification
The Akwa Ibom State Football Association has prolonged hearty congratulations to the Super Eagles B workforce and the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) following Nigeria’s 3-1 victory over Ghana’s Black Galaxies in Uyo, securing qualification for the 2025 African Nations Championship (CHAN).
Speaking after the match on the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Mr Umoh hailed the Super Eagles B for his or her spirited efficiency, describing the win as a testomony to the standard and potential of Nigeria’s home-based gamers.
“This was a fantastic display by the Super Eagles B. Their energy, tactical discipline, and hunger for success were evident throughout the game. They have made us all proud, and we are confident they can go all the way in the tournament proper,” Mr Umoh said.
He additionally recommended the NFF, beneath the management of Alhaji Ibrahim Gusau, for his or her efforts in growing the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), which he mentioned has tremendously improved the standard of gamers out there for the nationwide workforce.
