The Gambia U-17 staff misplaced to Mali regardless of delivering a surprising efficiency within the WAFU A Zone championship semi-final. 

The Baby Scorpions, who fought fiercely in opposition to their West African rivals, have been crushed 3-2. 

Alagie Baba Leigh scored Gambia’s equaliser within the thirty second minute of play after trailing the Malian aspect. Leigh put the Baby Scorpions forward within the forty ninth minute of play.

However, Malian talisman Bakary Simpara scored a hat-trick to safe an important win

for the Young Eagles of Mali. 

The Gambia U-17 staff will face Guinea Bissau within the Bronze Medal playoff on Monday at 3 PM, as they purpose to construct on their latest success and safe a spot on the rostrum.
