“Any state official who breaches the law must face the music’ – Adeleke’s Spokesperson replies Osun APC
The Spokesperson to Governor Ademola Adeleke, Mallam Olawale Rasheed has carpeted the Osun state chapter of the All Progressive Congress for defending a police officer who shot Comrade Iyanda Alowonle inside police station.
Speaking on Unique FM radio station this morning, Mallam Rasheed opined that the defence of Mr Moses Lohor by the state APC confirmed a collection of studies that the officer was posted to Osun state to hang-out down PDP and state authorities officers.
He stated the stated officer within the final 4 months has been harassing and intimidating PDP and state officers with a number of complaints lodged with police authorities unattended to.
Now that the state APC has overtly defended the officer, we now have direct proof that his actions have been politically motivated and coordinated and directed by the state APC..
The State APC has informed the entire world that the officer was performing on its behalf. Or how can one defend a celebration justifying close to killing of a person already handcuffed and in police custody?
“Alowonle was concerned in a home brawl together with his neighbor and the police intervention later revealed alleged unlawful possession of firearms. The subsequent step is to cost him to courtroom and never shoot him with seemingly intention to kill.
“Is the APC positing {that a} suspect could be shot at will with out recourse to regulation?. Is the APC saying a suspect in custody could be executed with out trial?
“Governor Ademola Adeleke is a regulation abiding chief who won’t ever protect any prison. Any state official who breaches the regulation should face the music. But it’s anti-democratic for an officer to grow to be an agent of violence on partisan consideration. The Nigeria police should be honest to all residents no matter political affiliations. That is the rule of regulation.
“For the APC, the press statement issued today is a new low. Osun APC is clearly an embarrassment to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu”, Mallam Rasheed stated on the radio interview.
