Ghanaian reggae musician Jahbeloved has rallied colleague musicians to evangelise peace in an all-star track dubbed, “Stand For Peace” forward of Ghana’s essential election in 2024.

The track is a collaboration of 14 Ghanaian Reggae Dancehall artistes.

The artistes on the track embrace Jahbeloved, 7 Fireside, Kente, Knii Lante, Osagyefo, XLNC Fiifi Selah, Ruki, Alaptawan, Kwame Partan, Oko Lacy, Fantiman Joujou, Kojo Kombolo, Topgyal Renner and Aklerh.

According to Jahbeloved, the message within the track is a name for peace, patriotism and equity as Ghana heads into the election 2024.

Speaking to the media on what pushed him to file the track, Jahbeloved mentioned he thought it mandatory and well timed to rally these well-meaning artistes to specific their messages via the medium they know finest; music.

He urged the varied political events and leaders to place Ghana first and challenge peace and equity earlier than, throughout and after the elections.

To the Ghanaian youths, he mentioned “As we go to vote, let’s do everything to put Ghana first. Defend your motherland; don’t let greedy people use you for parochial interests.”

“We want to state that the song is not a call to docility nor an endorsement for any political party. It is a call for all involved in the elections to make sure we do this without any “major news”. We additionally hope the track turns into an anthem for not solely Election 2024 however each different election after that,” he added.

The track was produced by Kormantse Muziki, producers of the most important Riddim Project in Ghana, (Where Di Money Riddim) which put 30 Ghanaian artiste on a Riddim.

The track was produced with instrumentation by Fantiman Joujou, stay drums by Frank Nana Yaw Godswill and stay bass by Felix Tettey Amankwah.
