Gambians have been elevating considerations over rise in robberies, calling for tighter safety measures to place an finish to such incidents.

The newest theft sufferer is Borri Darboe, who was on Saturday attacked and robbed of his mobile phone on his means dwelling.

“Someone just snatched my phone in my hand on my way home,” Mr Darboe introduced on his Facebook web page, attracting a great deal of feedback from household and buddies.

This incident occurred only a day after police apprehended three males suspected of committing a number of robberies in Greater Banjul space together with robbing a taxi driver at gunpoint alongside Sukuta-Jabang Highway final week.

One commenter mentioned: “it’s becoming increasingly clear that these bandits are not only trying to steal from people, but they are also attempting to harm innocent people and take away their properties violently.”
