GDC KM Regional Mobilizer Resigns, Types New Political Motion – Kerr Fatou On-line Media Home

Halifa Jawara, the previous Regional Mobilizer for the Gambia Democratic Congress (GDC) in Kanifing Municipality, has resigned from the occasion to determine a political motion aimed toward preventing authorities corruption.
“I didn’t leave GDC because of any wrongdoing on their part. I joined the party out of my own love for it, but everything has an end. I’m stepping down because I’ve started a new political movement dedicated to standing up for The Gambia and Gambians. I can’t be part of one party while leading another movement. I appreciate GDC’s respect during my time, and I thank Honorable Kandeh for accepting me,” Jawara instructed Star FM radio.
He defined that the motion’s objective is to handle problems with corruption and governance failures in each the federal government and the opposition.
“Most of the problems stem from the government, as they control the country’s finances and budget. But when the government does something right, we’ll acknowledge it. Our movement will actively monitor and expose corruption to show President Barrow where his government is failing, which Gambians do not support,” Jawara said.
He additionally urged President Adama Barrow to handle the nation’s well being system, noting, “Every day, Gambians are dying unnecessarily due to the poor state of healthcare.”
