The Precious Minerals Marketing Company (PMMC) has accused Joseph Yamin, the National Organiser of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), and others of trying to intervene with bullion bars belonging to the Bank of Ghana (BoG).

The PMMC made this disclosure in a press assertion issued on Wednesday, 18th December, following an incident that occurred on Tuesday, seventeenth December.

According to the assertion, the bullion bars in query are a part of the Bank of Ghana’s Domestic Gold Purchase Programme (DGPP), a key initiative geared toward strengthening Ghana’s gold reserves and bolstering the nation’s financial system.
