Liberia: UL Interim President Al Hassan Conteh Appointed Liberia’s Ambassador to U.S. as Lewis Brown Returns to UN

Monrovia – President Joseph Nyuma Boakai, Sr., has introduced a number of key nominations impacting the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Among probably the most notable are Dr. Al Hassan Conteh, designated as Ambassador to the United States, and Lewis Brown, appointed as Liberia’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations. Dr. Conteh at present served as Liberia Ambassador to Nigeria, whereas Brown beforehand held this UN function throughout each the Sirleaf-Boakai administration and the early a part of the Weah-Taylor administration.
