Maputo Erupts with the Rhythms of Calemas in Historic Concert

The campus of the Universidade Eduardo Mondlane (UEM) was transformed into the stage for a historic and unforgettable night this past Saturday, as over six thousand spectators brought the venue to life with their raw energy and emotion.

The crowd had gathered for a singular purpose: to witness the magnetic performance of the celebrated São Toméan musicians, Calemas. The event, orchestrated by AFF Eventos and Mosaik Live Communication, delivered a contagious musical experience that quickly evolved into a powerful tribute to the shared cultures of Mozambique and São Tomé, all communicated through the universal language of music.

Behind the scenes, the massive production involved a dedicated team of approximately 350 professionals, both men and women, who worked to bring this memorable spectacle to life.
