Mining: Bea Mountain turns over Water Tower
Kinjor-In continuation of its company social duty work, Bea Mountain Mining Corporation on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, once more turned over sustainable Water Tower in Kinjor to the county administration. The ceremony was carried out together with the Superintendent of Grand Cape Mount County,
During the turning over ceremony, the native management of the County, headed by Superintendent Kiatamba together with the management of Kinjor, the ladies, youths, and BMMC Management, residents greeted it with smiles and commendations.
Expressing gratitude to BMMC Management for the water challenge, Superintendent Kiatamba stated the water may be very helpful to his residents as it can assist to alleviate constraints confronted by the locals throughout the dry season.
RAP Chairman Lansana Ok. Sambola, Kinjor Town Chief, Musa Massaley and Youth Chairman Winston Korsor thanked BMMC for the challenge.
In Jawajeh Marvoh, the water tower was not turned over due some works because the Technical Manager Tansen assures the completion and subsequent turnover of the challenge to the residents.
Some residents stated they have been grateful to administration for the extent of improvement it’s endeavor within the affected communities.
“For me, we want to thank BMMC for this big water project here. As you know, water is life and anyone who is concern about your wellbeing, means well for you. And that is exactly what BMMC has done,” James Kemokai, a resident of the city stated in a jubilant temper.
This shouldn’t be the primary time for BMMC to assemble water Tower in affected communities. It has carried out numerous them at numerous areas within the county.
