Nigerian referee makes 2024 CHAN listing

Nigerian and FIFA badge center-referee, Abdulsalam Kasimu Abiola has been chosen to officiate on the upcoming CHAN 2024 event which is to be hosted by Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda.

In 2024, FIFA accepted Kasimu Abiola alongside a complete of 29 Nigerian referees to be positioned on the worldwide responsibility lists.

However, he’s the one Nigerian referee who will likely be current within the African Nations Championship from 1 – 28 February, 2025.

A complete of 26 referees had been authorized by CAF for the continental event whereas 25 assistant referees and 14 VARs and AVARs had been chosen to officiate throughout the competitors.
