No Lakurawa in Zamfara – Matawalle
A former governor of Zamfara state and minister of state defence, Hon. Bello Mohammed Matawalle, has denied experiences that the Lakurawa bandits are in Zamfara state.
The Minister made the pronouncement whereas briefing newsmen at his residence in Gusau the state capital on Sunday.
He mentioned Lakurawas have been dislodged by the army.
“Since the emergence of Lakurawa bandits, they don’t have any camp and they moved with all their belongings and to God be the glory, the Nigerian Army overpowered them and mitigate them”. He mentioned
The Minister additional acknowledged that, the federal authorities beneath the management of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is working around the clock to make sure relative peace return to Northwest.
He additionally appealed to Zamfara state residents and full Northwest to cooperate with the federal authorities insurance policies and applications for the event of the state and northwest as a complete.
