Security: Jigawa earmarks N413m for procurement of patrol automobiles
The Jigawa state authorities has earmarked N413 million for the procurement of fifty bikes and 4 automobiles for safety companies.
This was contained in an announcement by Sagir Musa, Commissioner for Information, Youths, Sports and Culture, Tuesday, in Dutse.
He stated the state govt council authorised the quantity at its assembly to facilitate procurement of 4 Toyota Hilux and 50 bikes and to boost patrol and battle towards crimes within the state.
Musa stated the council additionally authorised N304 million for the procurement of seven official and utility automobiles for the Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning, to make sure efficient undertaking monitoring and analysis train by the ministry.
He stated the SEC additionally authorised the implementation of key suggestions of the Majia Petrol Tanker Explosion Investigation Committee, to avert future occurrences of such tragic incident within the state.
