Simon Ekpa: Nigeria submits extradition necessities to Finnish authorities
The Nigerian authorities has submitted the mandatory necessities to the Government of Finland for the extradition of Biafra agitator, Simon Ekpa.
This was disclosed by the Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa, on Channels Television on Tuesday, December, 31, 2024.
According to him: “Well, I’m sure he’s cooling off somewhere.
“Legal action will be taken accordingly. I don’t want to say too much, but I’m glad he’s been arrested.
“The Federal Government has provided most of the required documentation to the Finnish Government, so I’m confident the right steps will be taken.”
Recall that the Finnish authorities arrested Ekpa together with 4 others, on suspicion of involvement in terror-related actions, together with incitement to violence and financing terrorism in November 2024.
While a Finish Court ordered Ekpa’s remand based mostly on possible trigger for public incitement to commit against the law with terrorist intent in Nigeria.
The separatist chief is accused of utilizing social media to advertise separatist propaganda and violently advocating for the secession of southeastern Nigeria.
