SN Brussels Airlines compelled to land in Dakar amid energy outage at Banjul airport
SN Brussels Airlines flight 1203 was compelled to divert and land in Dakar after an influence outage struck Banjul International Airport.
A passenger on the flight, Momodou Krubally, described the scenario: “Brussels Airlines flight #1203 is currently stranded in Dakar after three attempts to land in Banjul. The reason is that there is no electricity at the airport.”
Brussels Airlines has confirmed that the flight will stay in Dakar in a single day and is anticipated to renew its journey to Banjul the next day, pending decision of the ability points at Banjul International Airport.
However, studies point out that the difficulty has since been resolved, and the flight is anticipated to proceed on its scheduled journey to Banjul.
