Senegal’s main information website Seneweb is reporting the participation of President Bassirou Diomaye Faye within the Extraordinary Arab-Islamic Summit for Palestine and Lebanon, held on Monday, 11th November 2024 in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia.
According to information monitored on Seneweb, Senegal’s President Bassirou Diomaye Faye throughout his speech, denounced the state of affairs in Gaza, the place the inhabitants has been below Israeli bombardment for over a 12 months.
He stated: “The Palestinian people are being exposed to mass murder and unprecedented violence. These inhuman acts are taking place before our very eyes, and we cannot remain silent in the face of this injustice.”

“According to the latest figures from the Palestinian Ministry of Health, 43,603 people have died in the Gaza Strip since 7 October 2023. In Lebanon, the death toll from Israeli attacks stands at 3,200.”
