Reports point out that some unidentified unlawful miners are planning to enter and mine within the Neung South Forest Reserve, within the Tarkwa District of the Western Region. 

Eyewitnesses in close by communities have sighted three excavator machines and a washing plant parked about 700 metres away from the Forest Reserve. 

According to the stories, the unlawful miners have mounted limitations to limit Forestry Commission (FC) workers from accessing the Reserve.  

The unlawful miners blame the FC workers for trying on whereas one in all their very own was allegedly killed by the concession guards of Messrs. Kapsord Mining Limited. 

Prior to the arrival of Messrs Kapsord Mining Limited, the report confirmed that the unlawful miners dominated the realm.  

However, the Messrs Kapsord Mining Limited have taken over and mounted a Security Post with their Concession Guards to guard their assigned portion.  

The safety submit mounted in keeping with the stories, was set ablaze by unknown particular person(s) following the taking pictures incident between the concession guards and the unlawful miners across the space. 

The stories indicated that closely constructed armed males in camouflaged army uniform on a Toyota Pickup automobile had been seen about 100 metres away from the place the barricades had been mounted and drove on excessive velocity to the Reserve.
