Gambian midfielder Ebrima Singhateh made an immediate impact in his first appearance for AC Sparta Praha, providing an assist in the club’s 4-1 pre-season friendly victory over Slezsku00fd FC Opava on Saturday.
The match, played at the TCM Strahov training centre, saw Singhateh set up teammate Luku00e1u0161 Haraslu00edn for Sparta Praha’s opening goal in the 21st minute. The assist highlighted the creative ability of the young midfielder as he begins his tenure with the Czech champions.
Singhateh recently joined Sparta Praha from FK Jablonec on a multi-year contract, arriving as one of the club’s first signings of the summer transfer window. His debut performance offers an encouraging start ahead of the new season under head coach Brian Priske, as he looks to establish himself in the first team.
Sparta Praha went on to secure a comfortable 4-1 win, with Singhateh’s contribution underscoring his potential to play a role in the squad moving forward.
