Fo-doh Laba is off the mark for his new club.
The Togolese striker scored his first goal for Al-Sharjah in a 3-0 ADNOC Pro League victory away to Hatta FC on Sunday.
Al-Sharjah bounced back from last weekend’s defeat with a dominant attacking display. Julimar opened the scoring in the 21st minute and added a second six minutes later to give the visitors a two-goal cushion before halftime.
Starting as the lone striker, Laba capped the performance by scoring the third goal in the 61st minute. The strike marks his first goal since joining Al-Sharjah on a free transfer this summer after several seasons with Al Ain.
The result leaves Al-Sharjah in fifth place with six points. They host United in their next league fixture.
