Rwanda Security Force Joins Mocimboa da Praia Residents in Community Cleanup Initiative

Rwanda Security Forces stationed in Mozambique’s northern Cabo Delgado province participated in a community cleanup event today alongside local residents in Mocimboa da Praia.

The district-led initiative brought together community members, public institutions, and both Rwandan and Mozambican security personnel to clean and beautify the city through organized community work.

Following the cleanup activities, local officials addressed participants, highlighting the importance of such collaborative efforts for community development.

Speaking on behalf of Cabo Delgado Province, City Leader Helena Bandeila expressed gratitude to the security forces for their ongoing contribution to peace and stability in the region. She urged continued participation in monthly community activities to maintain the progress in Mocimboa da Praia.
