In his latest publication, journalist Adebayo Vunge introduces a collection of selected chronicles derived from his recent columns in the Jornal de Angola. The book delves into a diverse array of topics encompassing national realities such as politics, public finances, governance, economy, municipalities, health, culture, social inclusion, and journalism.

The official launch of the book is scheduled for November 12 at the Auditorium of the Sapiens Institute in Luanda, with the support of the Rosa de Porcelana publisher.

Sociologist and educator Paulo de Carvalho will be presenting the book. Vunge describes the content as ‘reflections penned in sync with the times, blending news, memories, and concerns while always staying true to the notion that contemplating the nation requires stepping out of one’s comfort zone and actively engaging with it.’

The motivation behind the book stems from the author’s desire to compile and organize his thoughts, reflections, and observations on Angola accumulated over the years. This includes insights on public policies, the significant challenges facing human and economic development, and the geopolitical landscape. Adebayo Vunge is also known for his previous works, namely ‘The Mass Media in Angola’ (2006), ‘The Credibility of the Media in Angola’ (2010), and ‘Thinking Africa’ (2017).
