A Tribute to the Late Aji Mbacho Ndong of Old Jeshwang
Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilayhi Raji’un
We mourn the passing of Aji Mbacho Ndong, affectionately known as Ina, a devoted Muslim and God-fearing woman who returned to her Lord on October 18, 2025.
Her life stood as a testament to kindness, humility, and unwavering faith. She practiced the Sunnah with profound sincerity, embodying Islamic teachings not merely through words, but through consistent action.
Aji Mbacho uplifted countless lives, including my own. Her support profoundly shaped my personal journey, inspiring me to honor her legacy by naming my first child after her. That name now carries the memory of a woman whose compassion and strength touched multiple generations.
We extend our deepest condolences to all her children and the entire family, both in The Gambia and abroad. May Allah (SWT) grant her Jannatul Firdaus and reward her for every soul she nurtured, every truth she upheld, and every act of mercy she performed.
Her light endures—in the stories she shared, the lives she transformed, and the legacy she built. May her soul rest in eternal peace. Ameen.
Your Son,
