The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has announced that its spokespersons and communicators will resume appearances on programmes broadcast by Accra-based Oman FM, starting Monday, August 10.
The decision, communicated by the party’s Deputy Communication Officer, Godwin Ako Gunn, brings an end to a period during which party representatives stayed away from the station’s discussions.
The party’s return to the station follows a previous withdrawal from its programming. The official communication did not detail the specific issues that led to the suspension, but indicated that both sides are prepared to move forward.
Oman FM is one of the country’s widely followed radio platforms, where political parties regularly debate national issues and government policies.
Radio remains one of Ghana’s most influential media platforms for political communication, making participation in popular discussion programmes an important avenue for parties seeking to engage the public.
The resumption of the NDC’s appearances is expected to attract significant public interest as political debate intensifies ahead of upcoming national discussions and policy engagements.
