American B-52 Bomber Engages in Joint Exercise with Mauritanian Air Force, Czech Special Forces Join

The American Embassy in Mauritania disclosed that a joint exercise took place on November 19, involving the Mauritanian Air Force and the U.S. Air Force. The exercise focused on integrating air and ground forces, with the notable participation of the American B-52 Stratofortress bomber.

According to the press release, Mauritanian officers collaborated closely with their American counterparts to enhance joint operational readiness, emphasizing the importance of regional stability. Additionally, a team from the Czech Special Forces based in Atar also took part in the exercise, highlighting international efforts to bolster Mauritania’s defense and security capabilities.

This joint operation coincided with the celebration of National Independence Day and commemorated 65 years of partnership between the United States and Mauritania. The enduring collaboration between the two nations continues to strengthen security cooperation and facilitate the exchange of military expertise.
