Bakrar Shines with Goal Despite Dinamo Zagreb’s Defeat

Algerian internationals Ismal Bennacer and Monsef Bakrar both started for Dinamo Zagreb in their Croatian league clash against Istra on Sunday. Despite a standout performance from Monsef Bakrar, who netted his team’s sole goal, Dinamo fell to a 2-1 defeat.

The home side pushed hard for an equalizer in the second half, creating numerous scoring opportunities, but ultimately failed to convert. Bakrar’s excellent all-around display underscored his consistent growth and value to the squad.

Fellow Algerian Bennacer, however, was substituted at the beginning of the second half.
