Prime Minister Chairs Crisis Committee Meeting on Hydrocarbon Supply
Major General Abdoulaye MAIGA, Prime Minister and Minister of Territorial Administration and Decentralization, chaired a meeting of the Interministerial Committee for Crisis and Disaster Management this morning at the Primature.
Assessing Hydrocarbon Supply Chain
The committee’s regular meeting focused on evaluating the country’s hydrocarbon supply situation. Members reviewed recent activities, including the establishment of an interministerial technical committee and measures to alleviate congestion at service stations.
The Crisis Coordination and Management Center (CECOGEC) presented comprehensive updates on fuel stock levels and essential goods availability across all regions, including Bamako.
Distribution Process Under Scrutiny
The meeting thoroughly examined the fuel distribution process nationwide. Prime Minister Maiga specifically praised the effective collaboration between the Directorate General of Customs and the Directorate General of Commerce, Consumption, and Competition.
The Prime Minister acknowledged the ongoing efforts by all parties involved and expressed optimism for resolving the population’s fuel supply challenges in the near future.
