PF MP Applauds Collaboration with HH-Led Government

Kalulushi Patriotic Front (PF) Member of Parliament Kampamba Mulenga has commended the United Party for National Development (UPND) administration, stating that her cooperative approach is yielding tangible benefits for her constituents.

Visible Development on the Ground

During an appearance on Crown TV’s Spotlight programme, Mulenga highlighted numerous development projects transforming her constituency. She pointed to upgraded schools, renovated clinics, and youth training initiatives—all funded through the Constituency Development Fund (CDF)—as evidence of successful implementation.

“Kalulushi is changing before our eyes,” Mulenga stated. “We have new classrooms, renovated clinics, and young people being equipped with real skills. That’s what happens when leaders choose cooperation over confrontation.”

Decentralization Driving Progress

The lawmaker praised the government’s decentralization policy and expanded CDF, noting that resources now reach local communities more efficiently and with greater transparency than in previous years.

Mulenga specifically commended President Hakainde Hichilema’s leadership style, describing it as results-oriented rather than rhetoric-driven. According to her, this commitment to decentralization has empowered local authorities to deliver development that citizens directly benefit from.

Call for Constructive Politics

Addressing the broader political landscape, the Kalulushi MP challenged opposition leaders to present practical alternatives instead of constant criticism, emphasizing that Zambians seek solutions rather than slogans.

“My duty is to my constituency,” Mulenga affirmed. “If working with the government of the day brings clean water, better schools and jobs, then that’s the right call.”

As the 2026 elections approach, Mulenga reaffirmed her intention to continue cooperating with the UPND government, pledging to advocate for unity, progress and inclusive growth in Kalulushi. -Kalemba
