Noureddine Daoudi, the CEO of the Sonatrach Group, welcomed a high-level delegation from the American energy giant Chevron, led by Frank Mount, its Executive Director of Corporate Business Development. The meeting was held at Sonatrach’s headquarters and attended by senior executives from both companies.
During the talks, Frank Mount congratulated Daoudi on his recent appointment to lead the Algerian state-owned energy group.
The discussions centered on the cooperative relations between Sonatrach and Chevron, with a particular focus on the progress of negotiations to implement a framework agreement signed on June 13, 2024.
This pivotal agreement is focused on the joint development of oil and gas resources in mutually identified areas within Algeria’s Ahnet and Berkine basins.
