The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) has inaugurated a sweeping reform agenda geared toward enhancing nationwide safety and migration administration.
The transfer adopted a communiqué signed by the NIS Comptroller General, Kemi Nandap, on the Service’s annual convention in Jos, Plateau on Saturday, was issued by the Service Public Relations Officer (SPRO) Mr Kenneth Udo.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) stories that the convention held from Oct. 30 to Nov. 2 was tagged “Enhancing Border security and Migration Management on a globalised world: challenges and opportunities for Nigeria.”
She mentioned that the convention introduced collectively 448 contributors, together with prime authorities officers, diplomats, and stakeholders.
Nandap mentioned the occasion aimed to evaluate the service’s preparedness, determine rising challenges, and develop sustainable methods for repositioning the NIS.
