NAATIP Renews Dedication to Curb Human Trafficking in Gambia –

The National Agency Against Trafficking in Person (NAATIP) has renewed its dedication to curb human trafficking in The Gambia.
Isatou Dabo, the manager director of the company, delivering a speech at an occasion held on the NaNA Hall on Monday, assured that her company would embark on aggressive rehabilitation with a purpose to curb the menace.
“Hands on commitment to suppress and eliminate the scourge of trafficking in persons and child labor in The Gambia and improve the quality of life of the trafficked persons and child laborthrough aggressive rehabilitation with our stakeholders, victims assistance and promotion of equality,” she said through the convergence of stakeholders.
The govt director assured her company’s continued reliance on the nationwide instruments and mechanisms to cope with surging human trafficking and associated points.
“NAATIP is fully committed to the prevention of all forms of human degradation and exploitation through the coordinated use of the nation’s crime prevention and law enforcement resources to stamp out and say no to trafficking in persons and other vulnerable groups, especially women and children from dehumanization and exploitative employment and to ensure with NAATIP implementing partners and stakeholders their rehabilitation and effective reintegration into society,” she recommends.
She continued that the company would administer the provisions of this act, provoke measures to tell and educate the general public, together with potential victims concerning the causes and penalties of trafficking, undertake measures to cut back the demand for business intercourse acts and for participation in worldwide intercourse tourism by Gambians, and amongst different measures.
