Supreme Court Validates Nine Candidates for Guinea’s 2025 Presidential Election

The Supreme Court of Guinea has published the provisional list of candidates approved to contest the upcoming presidential election, scheduled for December 28, 2025.

In an announcement made this Saturday, the court confirmed that after a thorough review of all submitted applications, nine candidacies were declared admissible, having met the nation’s legal requirements.

The validated candidates include prominent figures such as Mr. Abdoulaye Yro Bald, Mrs. Makal Kamara, and Mr. Ibrahima Abessila. The list also features Mr. Faya Lansana Milimono and Mr. Abdoulaye Kourouma, among others.
