Ghanaian reggae musician Rocky Dawuni has been nominated for the Best Global Music Performance on the upcoming 67th Grammy Awards.

The fourth nomination for the acclaimed Ghanaian performer represents one other key milestone in his worldwide success. Other nominees within the class embrace Angélique Kidjo, Arooj Aftab, Jacob Collier that includes Anoushka Shankar and Varijashree Venugopal, Masa Takumi that includes Ron Korb, Noshir Mody & Dale Edward Chung, and Sheila E.

Rocky Dawuni can be trying to win the honour this time round, with the awards ceremony scheduled for February 2, 2025, on the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, USA.

In 2015, Rocky Dawuni had his sixth studio album ‘Branches of the Same Tree” nominated in the Best Reggae Album category, and also in 2022, his “Voice of Bunbon Vol. 1’ album was nominated within the Best Global Music Album Category.

After his “African Soccer Fever” made the monitor checklist for the 2010 World Cup in South Africa, he solidified his place as a key determine within the modern African reggae scene.

Rocky Dawuni has a tall checklist of prime collaborations from everywhere in the world and has featured some prime Ghanaian artistes, together with Stonebwoy, Kweku Flick, Sarkodie, and Wiyaala, amongst others.
