No recruitment warrants issued after December 7; all processes accounted for in 2024 price range – Information Minister – Ghana Information On-line
Minister for Information and Spokesperson for the Government’s Transition Team, Fatima Abubakar, has clarified that each one ongoing recruitments are captured within the 2024 price range and no new warrants for recruitment have been issued for the reason that December 7 normal elections.
Her assertion is available in response to threats from the Transition Team of President-elect John Dramani Mahama, which has vowed to reverse any last-minute recruitment selections.
Speaking on JoyNews’ PM Express on Tuesday, December 17, Ms. Abubakar emphasised that recruitment processes had been pre-approved and budgeted for earlier than the elections.
She assured the general public that the federal government is adhering to established protocols and has not issued any contemporary recruitment warrants for the reason that polls.
“Since the election, not a single warrant has been issued for the recruitment of any persons,” she said. “The Interior Ministry and the Health Ministry have already issued public releases informing nurses to go onto the portal to start their recruitment processes.”
Her remarks addressed issues raised by the President-elect’s Transition Team over potential last-minute recruitments by the outgoing administration.
Ms. Abubakar underscored the federal government’s dedication to transparency in dealing with recruitment issues, guaranteeing they align with the authorised budgetary framework.
