Yuletide: Lagos govt, shodex, cinemas unveil fascinating programmes

As the Yuletide approaches, the Lagos State Government, cinemas and another leisure centres within the state are set to excite residents with fascinating programmes for the season.
In an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Tuesday, Mrs Toke Benson-Awoyinka, Lagos State Commissioner for Tourism, Arts and Culture, mentioned the state would have a good time its aquatic heritage in grand model with the annual boat regatta on Dec. 21.
Benson-Awoyinka mentioned the occasion would maintain on the Five Cowries Creek.
“The occasion goals to excite revellers in addition to promote the scenic seashores and the thriving hospitality sector round Lagos waters.
“Participants from the 5 IBILE divisions of Lagos state will compete in varied classes, with thrilling prizes up for grabs.
“Private boat owners will have the chance to display their creativity, adding a distinct Lagos flair to the event,” she mentioned.
Also, Mr Olusola Adekoya, Chief Executive Officer of Shodex Beautification Landmark Ltd., mentioned that the leisure park can be entertaining youngsters in a programme tagged “Kids Christmas Splash Fest”.
Adekoya mentioned this might start from Dec. 20 by to the New Year.
According to him, that is to ceate memorable and fulfilling expertise for youths and their households.
He mentioned youngsters can be uncovered to thrilling actions like: cultural parade, swimming, portray competitions, dance, and constructing blocks.
“We are doing this to encourage socialisation and interplay amongst youngsters, foster creativity and self-expression by varied actions.
