The Women’s Africa Cup of Nations volleyball tournament reaches its knockout stage on Tuesday, with four quarterfinal matches scheduled at Nairobi’s Kasarani Arena.
The competition, which began on August 25, has brought together Africa’s top national teams.
Kenya will face Algeria, Cameroon takes on Uganda, Rwanda meets Ghana, and Egypt plays Tunisia for the final semifinal spot. All matches will be played at the same venue.
Beyond the continental title, this edition carries added significance: teams are competing for qualification to the 2027 FIVB Women’s World Championship and the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games.
Each quarterfinal result could therefore influence the race for those two global events.
The four teams that advance to the last four will keep their title hopes alive while also strengthening their position for the 2027 and 2028 competitions.
