Nigeria Mining Cadastral Office Reports N8.1bn Revenue, Cites Licensing Reforms
The Nigeria Mining Cadastral Office says it generated N8.1 billion between January and October 2024, part of N36.048 billion collected since inception, with all revenue remitted to the Treasury Single Account. Director-General Obadiah Nkom told a Senate committee the rise reflects transparency, enforcement and digitalisation, and flagged funding and office space as challenges.
