Regional LPG trade show sets dates for September 2026 in Côte d’Ivoire
The 7th edition of the West Africa LPG Expo is scheduled to take place on September 2–3, 2026, at the Parc des Expositions in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire. The event, which serves as a major gathering for the liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) sector in the region, will focus on expanding access to LPG and promoting clean cooking solutions across West Africa.
Organizers have positioned the expo as a key platform for discussing safety standards, LPG availability, and the supply chains that underpin clean cooking initiatives. The 2026 edition marks the event’s return to Côte d’Ivoire, following a previous edition held in the country in 2023.

As part of the official program, the World Liquid Gas Association will lead a workshop titled “Clean Cooking for Life.” The session is expected to address practical approaches to expanding clean cooking adoption in the region.
According to the event’s official schedule, Mamadou Sangafowa Coulibaly is listed among the speakers at the opening ceremony. In addition, the Ivorian Ministry of Mines, Petroleum, and Energy is slated to deliver a presentation on efforts to broaden LPG access within Côte d’Ivoire.
